About the Role

We are looking for a Supply Chain Lead to build, manage, and scale Supply6's end-to-end supply chain operations. This is a high-ownership leadership role responsible for ensuring the right products are available at the right place and the right time, while maintaining healthy inventory levels, optimising working capital, and building reliable operational processes as the business scales.

The role will oversee procurement coordination, production planning, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, replenishment, and distribution across Quick Commerce, D2C, and other channels.

The ideal candidate is a solid operator who can move beyond planning and take ownership of execution, build scalable processes from the ground up, and proactively identify and solve supply chain bottlenecks.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Planning & Execution

- Own the end-to-end supply chain function across procurement, production, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and distribution.
- Develop supply and inventory plans aligned with business forecasts, sales targets, product launches, and promotional calendars.
- Ensure uninterrupted product availability across all key sales channels.
- Identify supply-side bottlenecks and drive timely resolution with internal and external stakeholders.

Demand & Inventory Management
- Work closely with growth, sales, and marketplace teams to translate demand forecasts into actionable supply plans.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels across SKUs while balancing availability, working capital, and storage costs.
- Monitor SKU-level inventory, ageing, expiry, slow-moving, and non-moving stock.
- Develop and implement inventory health metrics, safety stock norms, reorder levels, and replenishment mechanisms.
- Minimise stock-outs, excess inventory, expiry losses, and inventory write-offs.





Procurement & Manufacturing Coordination
- Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
- Manage production planning and replenishment requirements based on demand and inventory positions.
- Track production schedules, lead times, MOQs, and supplier performance.
- Build strong relationships with manufacturing and supply partners and ensure adherence to agreed timelines and SLAs.

Warehousing & Logistics
- Oversee inbound and outbound movement of inventory across warehouses and distribution points.
- Manage 3PLs, transporters, and logistics partners to ensure cost-effective and timely movement of goods.
- Drive improvements in warehouse processes, inventory accuracy, dispatch efficiency, and order fulfilment.
- Establish and monitor logistics SLAs and operational KPIs.

Distribution & Channel Operations
- Ensure efficient inventory allocation and replenishment across Quick Commerce, D2C, marketplaces, and other distribution channels.
- Work with channel teams to understand platform requirements, order cycles, replenishment patterns, and demand fluctuations.
- Ensure operational readiness for new product launches, campaigns, promotions, and demand spikes.
- Monitor service levels and identify opportunities to improve fulfilment and availability.

Process, Systems & Analytics
- Build and implement scalable SOPs and processes across the supply chain function.
- Establish dashboards and MIS for inventory, procurement, production, logistics, fulfilment, and service levels.
- Use data and operational metrics to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement.
- Improve supply chain visibility through effective use of ERP, inventory management, and supply chain technology platforms.

Cost & Working Capital Optimisation
- Drive initiatives to reduce logistics, warehousing, procurement, and inventory-related costs.




- Optimise working capital through better inventory planning and supply decisions.
- Identify opportunities for process automation, vendor consolidation, route optimisation, and operational efficiencies.
- Track supply chain costs and ensure operations scale sustainably.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Distribution, or related functions.
- Strong experience managing end-to-end supply chain operations, preferably within FMCG, Food, Nutrition, D2C, Consumer, or similar businesses.
- Experience managing inventory across multiple channels, including D2C, Quick Commerce, marketplaces, or modern trade.
- Strong understanding of demand planning, inventory planning, procurement, production coordination, warehousing, and logistics.
- Proven experience working with manufacturers, vendors, 3PLs, warehouses, and logistics partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large operational datasets.
- Strong ownership and execution mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience building SOPs, dashboards, operational metrics, and scalable supply chain processes.
- Working knowledge of ERP / inventory management systems; experience with EasyEcom, Unicommerce, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
