Role Description The Stores Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the stores and inventory function. The role involves overseeing receipt, storage, and issue of materials, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring timely updating of inventory systems.

The Stores

Officer will handle purchase order documentation,



coordinate with procurement and project teams for material requirements, and support stock audits and reconciliation activities. The role also includes monitoring stock levels, identifying discrepancies, maintaining orderly and safe storage practices, and preparing periodic inventory and stock status reports.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in Stock Control and Stock Management.
- Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Control and Inventory Management.
- Candidates should be able to manage and process Purchase Orders efficiently.
- Working knowledge of ERP or inventory management software and MS Office tools.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in stores or inventory roles within manufacturing or automation environments is preferred.
- Relevant diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
