Job Summary

We are looking for a Stores Assistant to support day-to-day stores and inventory operations in an industrial automation company. The candidate will be responsible for material receiving, storage, inventory records, and material issue while ensuring proper documentation and stock accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders/invoices.
- Check quantity, part numbers, and basic material specifications.
- Store materials systematically and maintain proper identification.
- Issue materials to production/engineering teams as per approved requirements.
- Maintain stock registers and inventory records.
- Support physical stock verification and periodic inventory counting.
- Update inward, outward, and stock movement records.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Engineering, and Accounts teams.




- Monitor minimum stock levels and inform the Stores In-charge about shortages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure stores area.
- Assist with documentation related to GRN, material issue, and stock reconciliation.

Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of inventory and stores operations.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic computer knowledge, particularly MS Excel.
- Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Willingness to work in an industrial/engineering environment.

Preferred Candidates
- Any Degree with 0–2 years of experience in stores, inventory, or warehouse operations from a MSME/SME Industry
- Freshers with a willingness to learn may also apply.
