Reporting To: Store In-charge / Store Manager

Job Purpose To handle day-to-day store activities including material receiving, identification, storage, material issue, stock counting, and maintaining inventory records accurately and safely.

Key Responsibilities

- Material Receiving
- Receive raw materials, components, consumables and packing materials.
- Check quantity against PO, delivery challan and documents.
- Coordinate with Quality Department for material inspection.
- Ensure proper GRN/inward entry in ERP.
- Material Storage
- Store materials at designated locations.
- Maintain proper identification and labelling.
- Follow FIFO and batch/lot traceability.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S.
- Material Issue
- Issue materials to Production and other departments against authorized requests.
- Maintain proper material issue records.
- Ensure correct part number, quantity and batch during issue.
- Inventory Control
- Maintain physical stock accurately.
- Conduct daily/weekly cycle counting as required.
- Report shortages, excess stock and discrepancies immediately.
- Support monthly/annual physical stock verification.
- ERP/SAP Activities
- Make GRN/inward, material issue and stock transfer entries.
- Maintain accurate system inventory.




- Prepare basic stock and transaction reports.
- Warehouse Safety
- Follow safety procedures while handling materials.
- Use proper material-handling equipment.
- Ensure materials are stored safely without damage.
- Maintain clean and organized storage areas.
- Coordination
- Coordinate with Purchase, PPC, Production, Quality and Dispatch teams.
- Inform Store In-charge about material shortages and urgent requirements.
- Required Skills
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of ERP/SAP preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory and warehouse practices.
- Ability to read part numbers and material labels.
- Valuable counting and documentation skills.
- Teamwork and discipline.
- Basic knowledge of FIFO and 5S.
- Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: 10th/12th pass; ITI,any degree/Diploma preferred.
- Experience: 1–3years in stores/warehouse, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
