We are seeking a passionate, creative, and enthusiastic STEM Educator to join our team at
Technoventor Innovations Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate will have 0–6 years of experience in teaching and engaging K–12 (school-going) students through hands-on STEM education. The role focuses on delivering experiential learning, developing curriculum-aligned activities, conducting workshops, and fostering innovation among school students. This position is not intended for higher education institutions and is specifically designed for primary, middle, and secondary school education.
Key Responsibilities
- STEM Education & Teaching: Deliver engaging STEM sessions, hands-on learning experiences, and practical demonstrations for school-going students (K–12) in accordance with the school's academic schedule.
- Curriculum Development: Design, develop, and implement curriculum-aligned STEM lesson plans, projects, and activities that complement the school's educational objectives and learning outcomes.
- Student Engagement: Inspire curiosity and innovation by conducting interactive classroom sessions, project-based learning activities, and experiential education programs.
- Workshops & Activities: Plan and conduct STEM workshops, innovation challenges,
competitions, exhibitions, boot camps, and hands-on learning activities for students throughout the academic year.
- Makerspace & Lab Management: Maintain the school's STEM/Makerspace laboratory,
ensuring all equipment, tools, and materials are organized, functional, and secure for student use.
- Technical Assistance: Guide students during practical sessions involving robotics, electronics,
coding, 3D printing, Arduino, IoT, design thinking, and other STEM-related technologies.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all classroom and laboratory activities follow safety standards and encourage responsible usage of equipment and materials.
- School Collaboration: Work closely with school management, principals, coordinators, and teachers to integrate STEM education into the school's curriculum and extracurricular programs.
- Student Assessment: Monitor student participation and learning progress, maintain records,
and provide regular feedback and reports to the school and the organization.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of STEM kits, tools, consumables, and equipment, while reporting shortages or maintenance requirements.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports regarding conducted sessions, student engagement, workshops, and curriculum implementation.
- Replacement Support: Be willing to work as a replacement STEM Educator/Engineer whenever required and temporarily fill positions across different school locations to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging STEM education methodologies,
technologies, and teaching practices to continuously improve student learning experiences.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical,
Electrical, Mechatronics)
or a related field.
- Teaching Skills: Strong ability to teach and simplify technical concepts for school-going students (K–12) using interactive and activity-based learning methods.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on knowledge of Robotics, Arduino, Electronics, IoT, 3D
Printing, Coding, Design Thinking, or other STEM technologies.
- Curriculum Planning: Ability to create lesson plans, student activities, assessments, and curriculum-aligned learning modules.
- Workshop Management: Experience in conducting workshops, science exhibitions,
innovation challenges, and student engagement activities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with students, teachers, parents, and school management.
- Problem-Solving Attitude: Creative mindset with the ability to encourage critical thinking,
innovation, and collaborative learning among students.
- Travel: Willingness to travel and work across multiple school locations whenever required as part of deployment or replacement assignments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in teaching STEM subjects to K–12 students in schools.
- Experience in managing STEM Labs, Makerspaces, ATL Labs, Innovation Labs, or Robotics
Labs.
- Knowledge of Robotics, Coding, Artificial Intelligence (basic), Arduino, Raspberry Pi, IoT, and
Electronics.
- Experience in curriculum planning, activity development, and classroom management.
- Passion for experiential learning, innovation, and student-centered education.
- Ability to organize school-level competitions, exhibitions, and innovation events independently.
