Principal Technical Consultant – Banking Modernization & Integration Location: Trivandrum, Kerala Work Mode: Initially On-site Experience: Senior / Architect-level Industry: Banking / Financial Technology Employment Type: Full time Role Overview: We are looking for a Principal Technical Consultant with strong expertise in solution architecture, Java engineering, enterprise integration, cloud technologies, and client-facing technical consulting . The role combines Architecture, Engineering, Integration, Consulting, and Client Leadership . You will work with technology organizations of major financial institutions to design and deliver solutions across complex banking ecosystems. Key Responsibilities: Lead technical solution design for complex banking implementations. Translate business and banking requirements into scalable technical architectures. Design integrations across core banking systems, APIs, event platforms, data platforms, and cloud services . Lead technical workshops, architecture discussions, and design reviews with clients.



Guide implementation using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kafka, and PostgreSQL . Advise clients on integration patterns, scalability, resilience, and cloud architecture. Troubleshoot complex distributed-system and production issues. Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams. Develop reusable implementation patterns and technical accelerators. Mentor technical consultants and raise engineering standards. Required Technical Skills: Java Spring Boot REST / API Architecture Kafka / Event-Driven Architecture PostgreSQL / Relational Data Architecture Azure or comparable cloud platforms Docker & Kubernetes CI/CD Enterprise Integration Patterns Distributed Systems Cloud Architecture Required Experience: Strong Java and Spring Boot engineering experience. Experience designing REST/API-based architectures. Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven systems. Experience with relational databases and data
