Role Description The Sr. Counselor – Student Visa & Immigration is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves guiding prospective students and clients through the entire process of overseas education and immigration, including country and course selection, application documentation, and visa filing.

The Sr. Counselor will conduct detailed counseling sessions, assess eligibility, explain admission and visa requirements, and provide accurate information on universities, colleges, and immigration pathways. Daily responsibilities include managing client inquiries, maintaining case records, coordinating with internal teams and international partners,



and ensuring timely follow-up and high service standards.

The role also includes supporting exam coaching departments (e.g., IELTS, PTE, GRE) with counseling on test requirements and helping clients prepare realistic plans for study and settlement abroad.

Qualifications

- Strong counseling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand client goals and provide explicit, structured guidance for study and immigration pathways.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including fluent spoken and written English and comfort in presenting information to individuals and small groups.
- Knowledge of international education systems, student visa processes, and immigration procedures for key destinations such as Canada, USA, UK, Australia, and Europe.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple client files, track deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Customer service and relationship-management skills to build trust, manage expectations, and maintain long-term client engagement.
- Proficiency with common office software and CRM tools to document cases, prepare forms, and manage communication efficiently.
- Prior experience in overseas education counseling, visa consulting, or immigration services at a senior or responsible position is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in any discipline, with a preference for candidates with backgrounds in education, law, management, or related fields.
