JOB CHANCE: CIVIL STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEERS

C V PATIL & ASSOCIATES is a premier structural engineering consultancy. We are looking for talented and driven professional engineers to join our core design team in Pune. The selected candidates will focus on the structural analysis, design, and detailing of Water and Sewage Treatment Plants (WTP/STP), including complex liquid-retaining structures, heavy foundations, and associated plant infrastructure.

1. Senior Civil Structural Design Engineer (1 Post)

Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering

Experience: 7 to 10+ years of core structural design experience (Minimum 4+ years handling WTP/STP or water/hydraulic structures)

¢ Software Skills: Expert proficiency in STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, and AutoCADKey Responsibilities:

- Lead structural analysis and design of heavy, liquid-retaining concrete structures like basins, clarifiers, digesters, and pump houses.
- Supervise, guide, and review structural calculations, detailed engineering drawings, and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) generated by junior engineers.
- Ensure all structural designs rigorously follow relevant Indian Standards, specifically IS 3370 (liquid storage), IS 456, and applicable seismic/wind load codes.
- Coordinate actively with process, mechanical, and piping teams, as well as site contractors, to resolve cross-disciplinary design conflicts safely.

Junior Civil Structural Design Engineer (1 Post) ¢ Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization preferred)

¢ Experience: 1 to 3 years of core experience in civil structural engineering (Exposure to hydraulic, water, or environmental projects is highly preferred)

¢ Software Skills: Hands-on operating experience with STAAD.Pro and AutoCADKey Responsibilities:

- Perform structural modeling and routine design calculations for plant components including launders, structural slabs, channels, and machine foundations.
- Assist in the preparation of highly accurate structural engineering layouts, reinforcement details, and structural drawings.
- Compile detailed structural design reports, calculation spreadsheets, and material quantities/take-offs for review.
- Review ongoing site dimensions and check drawing revisions under the direct guidance of the Senior Structural Engineer.
