Roles and Responsibilities :

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Architect with robust experience in Enterprise Infrastructure, Virtualization, Networking, Compute Infrastructure, and Hybrid Cloud (Azure). The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, governing, and optimizing secure, scalable, resilient, and highly available infrastructure solutions across on-premises data centers and cloud environments.

- The role requires strong expertise in VMware, enterprise networking, Azure hybrid connectivity, storage, backup, disaster recovery, infrastructure security, automation, monitoring, and infrastructure architecture. The candidate will work closely with Cloud, Storage, Security, Application, Platform Engineering, and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain enterprise infrastructure architectures covering compute, networking, virtualization, and hybrid cloud.

- Design scalable, secure, and highly available solutions for mission-critical applications.

- Design enterprise networking solutions involving TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewalls, Load Balancers, and Network Segmentation.

- Architect and manage highly available VMware vSphere environments using ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, Clusters, and vMotion.

- Work with cloud teams to design Hybrid Cloud solutions integrating on-premises infrastructure with Microsoft Azure.

- Define infrastructure standards,



architecture principles, governance, and best practices.

- Lead data center transformation, infrastructure modernization, technology refresh, and migration initiatives.

- Perform capacity planning, performance optimization, lifecycle management, and infrastructure resiliency.

- Design and integrate enterprise SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, and SMB/CIFS storage solutions.

- Work with storage platforms such as NetApp and Dell EMC.

- Design and support backup, replication, Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity (BC), RTO/RPO, and failover solutions.

- Ensure infrastructure designs comply with security, compliance, availability, and operational resilience requirements.

- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement secure infrastructure architectures.

- Create High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), architecture diagrams, standards, technical documentation, and implementation runbooks.

- Participate in architecture governance boards, technical solution reviews, design approvals, and technology evaluations.

- Support incident, problem, change, and configuration management in ITIL-aligned enterprise environments.

- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to infrastructure engineering teams.

- Monitor infrastructure performance and implement observability and monitoring solutions.
