Senior Account Executive

The Senior Accountant will have a role with high levels of responsibility and reporting directly to the Team Leader. This role will provide direct support to the Team Leader, investigating and solving queries from the team where possible, freeing the Team Leader up to ensure all client deliverables are met, and that the team functions effectively.

The role entails preparation of complex reconciliations, reviewing work done by other team members, and producing draft monthly accounts for the Team Leader to review and send to clients.

The aim is that this role evenly balanced between reviewing of the teams work and doing complex work to support the Team Leader.

Assistance to the Team Leader

Training of Assistant accountant

Assistance in answering team queries, to protect TL from all queries.

Assist TL with monthly reports

Allocate emails to team.

Reviewing Team work: Review Payrolls

1 st review of monthly financials Produce draft mgmt pack first draft.





Complex Taskwork

Finalisation of STP, Stat Reconciliations / OSR / ATO / Super (complex) FBT Process complex payrolls / refunds

Liaison and management of Audits Process and calculate commissions Load ABA files

Stat Bal Sheet Recs

Insurance Funding set up (unexpired interest etc)

Reporting Work

- ABS Returns
- Complex cashflows or complex parts of cashflows

- Ad hoc reporting

Requirements

**Job Required
- 3+ years of accounting experience with small / medium businesses
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, finalization of statements and tax return preparation
- Conversant with MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Preferred**
