Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a dedicated US IT Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive technical hiring across Gen AI, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Analytics. This role requires someone who understands the technical hiring landscape, builds solid pipelines, and partners closely with stakeholders to bring in top-tier talent. Someone who can take ownership and get things done.
End-to-End Technical Recruitment:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for Gen AI, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Analytics roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and build effective hiring strategies.
- Ensure a smooth, timely hiring process from sourcing through to offer.
Sourcing & Pipeline Building:
- Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, referrals, and professional communities.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of active and passive technical talent for current and future needs.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with business leaders and hiring managers to align on hiring needs, priorities, and timelines.
Candidate Experience & Evaluation:
- Screen and evaluate candidates for technical fit and cultural alignment across:
- Gen AI & Data Science
- Data Engineering
- Analytics
Offer Management & Reporting:
- Negotiate offers and manage the offer-to-joining process end-to-end. Track recruitment metrics such as TAT and offer-to-join ratio.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data in the ATS.
- Provide timely feedback and updates to candidates and stakeholders.
- Stay current with hiring trends and compensation benchmarks in the Gen AI, Data Science, and Analytics talent market.
- Represent MathCo as a strong employer brand ambassador in the technical talent market.
Skill Requirements
- Strong understanding of technical skill sets, tools, and terminology across Gen AI, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Analytics.
- Hands-on experience with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, and other job boards; ATS experience preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and advise hiring managers on hiring strategy.
- Prior experience recruiting for an analytics, AI, IT services, or product/consulting organization is highly preferred.
- Awareness of emerging hiring trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent availability in the AI/Data space.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- A consultative, data-driven approach to recruitment with strong ownership and accountability.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 6–8 years of experience in technical US recruitment, with proven expertise in hiring for Gen AI, Data Science, Data Engineering, and/or Analytics roles
- Proven experience recruiting for or supporting hiring across consulting, engineering, data science, analytics, AI/ML, technology, or digital transformation roles.
- Experience supporting professional services, consulting, analytics, or technology organizations.
- Exposure to recruiting talent aligned to Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Retail, Pharma, Commercial Analytics, Revenue Growth Management, Customer Analytics, or related domains is strongly preferred
- Experience managing multiple technical requisitions simultaneously across niche and high-demand skill sets.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline; HR specialization is a plus.
- Given the global nature of the role and close partnership with North American stakeholders, this position requires flexibility to work predominantly U.S. business hours (6pm IST to 3am IST)
