Position: Senior Mechanical Product Development Engineer
Location: Cochin
Qualification:Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master’s Degree preferred
Experience: Minimum 6 + years of experience in mechanical product design and development, preferably with power connectors or related electromechanical products
Salary : Upto 12 Lacs(Negotiable)
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and development of power connectors, cable assemblies, and related products.
* Capture and translate customer requirements into product designs.
* Develop product concepts and perform design verification and validation.
* Plan and execute product qualification and testing activities.
* Conduct DFMEA, DFM, tolerance stack-up, and design reviews.
* Perform FEA simulations and environmental testing.




* Ensure compliance with UL, IEC, and other industry standards.
* Design cost-effective and manufacturable products.
* Collaborate with cross-functional global teams.
* Interface with Program Management and Sales for technical support.
* Present technical solutions to customers and internal stakeholders.
* Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
* Support recent product introductions and production launches.
* Drive product innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
