Credflow is building a full-stack financial operating system for Indian SMEs, combining technology, data and financial services to help businesses manage and grow their cash flows.
We are now entering the Solar Energy ecosystem, with the ambition of building a large-scale B2B solar components distribution business.
Our initial and primary focus will be solar panels, serving solar EPC companies, installers, distributors and other institutional buyers across India.

The Role
We are looking for a Head of Solar Panel Business who will build and scale our solar panel distribution business from the ground up.
This is a high-ownership, entrepreneurial role. You will be responsible for building the business across:
Manufacturer Relationships → Procurement → EPC Acquisition → Sales → Distribution → Collections → P&L;
You will effectively operate as the business head / entrepreneur for the Solar vertical, with ownership of revenue, margins, customers, team and overall business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. BUILD THE SOLAR PANEL DISTRIBUTION BUSINESS
- Build a high-growth B2B business focused primarily on solar panel sales.
- Develop a deep understanding of the Indian solar panel market.
- Identify the right panel brands, manufacturers and product categories.
- Build strong relationships with leading solar panel manufacturers.
- Negotiate pricing, margins, volume discounts, rebates and commercial terms.
- Develop a competitive product and pricing strategy.
- Build a scalable distribution model across key solar markets in India.
- Identify opportunities for geographic and customer-segment expansion.
- Build repeat purchase and long-term relationships with customers.
--------------------------------------------------------- 2. BUILD THE EPC & INSTALLER NETWORK The primary customer base will be solar EPC companies and installers.
You will be responsible for building a large and high-quality customer network.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire solar EPC companies across India.
- Build relationships with EPC founders, procurement heads and decision-makers.
- Understand their monthly panel requirements.
- Build a pipeline of high-volume EPC customers.
- Develop key-account relationships with large EPCs.
- Create a repeat-order engine.
- Increase share of wallet among existing customers.
- Build referral and channel networks.
- Develop long-term strategic partnerships with high-quality EPCs.
The objective is not simply to acquire customers, but to become their preferred source for solar panels.

4. BUILD THE GO-TO-MARKET ENGINE
Develop and execute the strategy for acquiring solar customers at scale.
This includes:
- Defining the Ideal Customer Profile.
- Identifying the highest-potential solar markets in India.
- Building a city/state expansion strategy.
- Developing an EPC acquisition playbook.
- Building sales teams across key markets.
- Designing sales incentives and targets.
- Developing channel and referral partnerships.
- Creating a CRM-driven sales pipeline.
- Establishing processes for lead generation, conversion and repeat purchases.
- Building a solid account-management function for large EPC customers.
--------------------------------------------------------- 5. BUILD MANUFACTURER & SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIPS
Develop strategic relationships with solar panel manufacturers and suppliers.
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying high-quality manufacturers.
- Negotiating competitive procurement prices.
- Securing volume-based discounts.
- Negotiating credit terms.
- Building supply commitments.
- Managing product availability.
- Ensuring consistent quality and delivery.
- Evaluating new manufacturers and panel technologies.
- Building strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
The goal is to create a structural procurement advantage as CredFlow's volumes scale.

6. PRODUCT & MARKET STRATEGY
Own the commercial strategy for the solar panel portfolio.
This includes:
- Identifying the right panel technologies and specifications.
- Understanding market demand by customer segment.
- Tracking competitor pricing.
- Monitoring changes in module technology and efficiency.
- Understanding government policies and industry developments.
- Deciding which products and brands to stock.
- Creating differentiated pricing propositions for different customer segments.
You should have a strong understanding of TOPCon, Mono PERC, bifacial modules, wattage classes and other relevant solar technologies, as well as the commercial implications of these products.

7. BUILD OPERATIONS & DISTRIBUTION
Work with the operations team to create a reliable and scalable distribution engine.
Responsibilities include:
- Order management
- Inventory planning
- Warehousing
- Logistics
- Delivery timelines
- Quality checks
- Returns / replacement processes
- Customer service
- Collections

8. BUILD THE TEAM
Build and lead the organization required to scale the business.
Potential functions include:
- Sales / Business Development
- Key Accounts
- Procurement
- Supply Chain
- Operations
- Customer Success
- Collections
Initially, you will be expected to be highly hands-on — personally building relationships with manufacturers and the first set of large EPC customers.
As the business scales, you will build the team and processes required to institutionalize the business.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, commercially sharp and execution-oriented leader.
Must Have
- 8–15 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of the Indian solar industry.
- Experience in solar panel sales / distribution.
- Existing relationships with solar EPCs and/or installers.
- Robust B2B sales and distribution experience.
- Experience negotiating with manufacturers or suppliers.
- Strong understanding of margins and working-capital economics.
- Experience building and managing sales teams.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to build and scale a business.

This is not a conventional sales management role.
We are not looking for someone whose primary experience is:
- Managing an existing sales team without owning business outcomes
- Pure relationship management
- Project execution without commercial ownership
- Residential solar sales
- Only managing existing distributor accounts
We are looking for someone who can build a new B2B solar distribution business from zero.
Someone who can walk into a manufacturer, negotiate procurement terms, identify a ₹5–10 Cr EPC customer, close the relationship, build the sales team and ultimately own the P&L.;

- Map the Indian solar panel ecosystem.
- Identify priority manufacturers and brands.

- Develop the product and pricing strategy.
- Establish initial supply and distribution relationships.
