Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Software Test Engineer.

The Software Test

Engineer will design, develop, and execute test cases to validate the quality, performance, and reliability of RiVirtual’s digital platforms and applications. This role includes creating test plans, performing manual and automated testing, documenting defects, and collaborating with software developers and product managers to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Engineer will participate in requirement reviews, contribute to test strategy and regression testing,



and help improve testing processes and tools. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams in a distributed environment and maintaining clear communication on test progress, risks, and outcomes.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Test Execution and Testing, with experience validating complex software systems.
- Hands-on expertise in Software Testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Ability to design, maintain, and optimize Test Cases aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Understanding of Software Development processes and lifecycle, and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail or similar).
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and scripting languages is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience testing SaaS, FinTech, PropTech, or data-driven platforms is a plus.
