Company Description Lyxa Labs is a Bengaluru-based climate-tech product studio focused on helping Indian manufacturers demonstrate how clean and efficient their operations truly are, strengthening their position in global trade. The company builds products at the intersection of carbon regulation, manufacturing, and exports, addressing the gap between actual factory performance and global perception. Its first product is currently in field trials across Bengaluru’s industrial belt and is backed by over sixteen years of enterprise engineering experience and DPIIT recognition.

Lyxa Labs works closely with small and mid-sized manufacturers, aiming to make credible climate and performance proof more accessible and affordable than the penalties of not having it.

Role Description This is a full-time, remote Software Engineer Intern role. The intern will collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, test, and maintain back-end services and APIs that power Lyxa Labs’ climate-tech products. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean and efficient code, reviewing and debugging existing features, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical documentation.

The role also involves learning and applying best practices in software development, working with data related to manufacturing and emissions,



and iterating quickly based on feedback from internal stakeholders. The intern will be expected to communicate effectively in a distributed team, manage tasks independently, and show initiative in exploring recent tools and technologies relevant to climate-tech solutions.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and basic systems concepts.
- Practical skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in Python and FastAPI.
- Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Hands on development skill on React & React Native
- knowledge on Azure/AWS will added advantage.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and ability to apply them to design and implementation.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work remotely in a structured, self-directed manner and collaborate effectively with a distributed team.
- Interest in climate-tech, manufacturing, or sustainability-related problems; prior exposure to these domains is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), basic testing practices, and agile or iterative development workflows.
