As a Software Developer - Data Analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and digital transformation leaders to unlock the value of enterprise data. You will design and develop scalable data workflows, analytics solutions, and interactive dashboards that enable data-driven decision making across Siemens Energy businesses.

You will leverage technologies such as Alteryx, Snowflake, Tableau, and Power BI to transform complex data into meaningful insights while ensuring data integrity, governance, and operational excellence.

How You'll Make an Impact

- Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support strategic business decisions.
- Design, develop, and optimize data workflows using Alteryx for data preparation, transformation, and automation.
- Extract, cleanse, validate, and integrate data from Snowflake and other enterprise systems.
- Build, enhance, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Develop and standardize key business metrics, KPIs, and performance reporting frameworks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable analytics solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, consistency, and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Automate recurring reporting processes and data pipelines to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve analytics and reporting solutions.
- Support adoption of data-driven decision making through stakeholder engagement, training, and analytics best practices.
- Contribute to analytics strategy, innovation initiatives, and continuous process improvements.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- 5-7 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, and Data Visualization.
- Strong hands-on experience with Alteryx for workflow development, data preparation, transformation, and automation.
- Proven expertise working with Snowflake including SQL development, data modeling, querying,



and performance optimization.
- Advanced experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and understanding of:
- Data Warehousing
- ETL/ELT Processes
- Data Integration Architectures
- Data Governance Practices

- Experience translating business requirements into analytical solutions and business insights.
- Knowledge of KPI development, reporting standards, and dashboard design best practices.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a global and cross-functional environment.

Desired Skills

- Experience with enterprise-scale analytics and reporting platforms.
- Understanding of cloud-based data ecosystems and modern data architectures.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Experience in data quality management and master data concepts.
- Knowledge of Python, R, or advanced analytics techniques is a plus.
- Exposure to AI-enabled analytics and predictive reporting solutions is advantageous.

- Experience supporting global business users and international projects.
- Domain knowledge in project management, engineering, manufacturing, energy, or industrial sectors.
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise data platforms and business intelligence environments.
