- Design and implement interactive curricula for high school social science courses (e.g., World History, U.S. History, or AP electives).
- Mentor students through annual major research projects, historical inquiry, and synthesis of complex primary/secondary sources.
- Utilize diverse, effective assessment strategies to monitor individual growth and adapt instruction to meet varying student needs.
- Maintain an inclusive, supportive classroom workplace aligned with the school’s mission and core values.
- Contribute to campus life beyond the classroom by serving as a student advisor, leading clubs, or supporting co-curricular programs.
- Collaborate regularly with department colleagues, administration, and parents to support holistic student development.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in History, Social Science, Education, or a related field required (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience:



Minimum 3–5 years of secondary classroom teaching experience, preferably within an independent school setting.
- Subject Expertise: Strong background in social science concepts, research methodologies, and AP-level coursework instruction.
- Tech & Pedagogy: Proficiency in integrating educational technology, learning management systems (LMS), and project-based learning models.
