Job Description / Roles & Responsibilities:

- This position is responsible for establishing, planning and running the engineering Cockpit ( IP & Console) system meetings to ensure appropriate cross functional representation and input from all relevant areas.
- Ensure progression of design quality maturity from initial concept through to final engineering sign-Off (FESO).
- Establishing and maintain the teamwork plan aligned to vehicle program.
- Define appropriate engineering targets to meet function, quality and attribute requirements for the Vehicle Program.
- Develop and maintain the design validation plan (DVP)



including both in-house and supplier testing plan and ensure development signoff tests are completed on schedule.
- Develop System Design Specifications incorporating engineering standards, test procedures and material specifications.
- Lead Failure Mode Avoidance activities including DFMEA, quality history reviews and DFA/DFM reviews.
- Ensuring all relevant documentation meets ISO quality standards.
- Lead the resolution of design, attribute, or packaging incompatibilities through the appropriate cross-functional meetings.
- Management of Supplier (s) to ensure system/component delivery to vehicle programme timing and attribute targets.
- Support Purchasing team in Sourcing and RFQ activities including the creation of ESOWs, PDSs and ESIs.
- Support vehicles launch and pre-production builds (both virtual and physical).
- Ensuring the effective application of APQP to manage system/component delivery.
- Ensure delivery of PSW, through planning from project start to sign off.
- Follow and deliver company goals and strategies.
- Ensure system, sub-system and components meets DVA, Optical and Perceived Quality targets.
