Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month, depending on qualification and experience

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Soft Skills Trainer to deliver training to candidates under skill development programmes. The trainer will be responsible for developing candidates' communication, interpersonal, professional and workplace-readiness skills and preparing them for employment.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct classroom sessions on Soft Skills, Communication Skills and Employability Skills.
- Train candidates in spoken English, basic grammar, vocabulary and workplace communication.
- Develop personality development, confidence and interpersonal skills.
- Conduct sessions on interview skills, group discussion, resume writing and job readiness.
- Train candidates on professional etiquette, workplace behaviour and time management.
- Conduct activities such as role plays, presentations, group discussions and mock interviews.
- Assess candidates' learning and provide individual feedback.
- Maintain daily lesson plans, attendance, assessment records and training documentation.
- Coordinate with the Center Manager, Mobilizer, Domain Trainer and Placement Team.
- Support candidates during placement preparation, interviews and pre-placement activities.
- Ensure training is delivered according to the prescribed project curriculum and training schedule.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in candidate counselling and other centre-level activities when required.
- Support the centre team during mobilization,



placement drives and project inspections.

Required Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good command of English and Odia/Hindi.
- Solid classroom management and candidate-handling skills.
- Ability to conduct interactive and activity-based training.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and basic computer applications.
- Ability to motivate rural youth and prepare them for employment.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.

Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Candidates with a Diploma/Certificate in Soft Skills, Communication, HR, Training or related fields will be preferred.
- Relevant training/teaching experience will be an added advantage.

Experience
- 1–3 years of experience as a Soft Skills Trainer, Employability Skills Trainer, Communication Trainer, Faculty or Trainer in a skill development/education project.
- Experience in DDU-GKY, NUA Odisha, PLTP, PMKVY, OSDA or similar government skill-development projects will be preferred.
