Position: Site Engineer – RCC / PEB / LGSF

Location: Nashik / Project Sites

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: 2–5 years preferred

About the Role

Avabiz Ventures is looking for a hands-on Site Engineer who can independently manage day-to-day site execution and coordinate between the project team, vendors, contractors, consultants, and management.

The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of RCC, PEB and LGSF construction, along with strong skills in BOQ, estimation, material planning, vendor management and site documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Site Execution & Supervision

Manage day-to-day construction activities at project sites.

Supervise RCC, PEB and LGSF works as per drawings, specifications and project schedules.

Ensure work is executed with proper quality, safety and workmanship.

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, supervisors and workers.

Check dimensions, levels, alignment and installation as per drawings.

Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned team for timely resolution.

Ensure project activities are completed within planned timelines.

- BOQ, Estimation & Quantity Management

Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs and material requirements.

Prepare project estimates and quotations based on drawings and site requirements.

Calculate quantities for RCC, steel, PEB, LGSF, civil and finishing works.

Compare actual consumption with estimated quantities.

Identify material wastage and opportunities for cost optimization.

Assist the management team in preparing project budgets and costing.

- Material & Inventory Management

Prepare material requirement plans based on project schedules.

Coordinate with the purchase team for timely procurement.

Track material received, consumed and available at site.

Verify quantity and quality of incoming materials.

Maintain proper records of material inward/outward and consumption.

Ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently at site.

Prevent material wastage,



damage and unnecessary site inventory.

- Vendor & Contractor Management

Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and suppliers.

Monitor vendor and contractor performance at site.

Verify work completion and quantities before submitting bills for approval.

Coordinate material deliveries and resolve supply-related issues.

Ensure vendors and contractors follow project specifications, timelines and safety requirements.

- DPR & Project Reporting

Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR) covering manpower, activities completed, material received/consumed, equipment, delays and site issues.

Prepare weekly progress updates and project status reports.

Maintain site records, measurements, checklists and work completion documentation.

Escalate delays, quality issues, material shortages and technical problems to management.

Maintain photographic documentation of project progress.

- Drawing & Technical Coordination

Read and understand architectural, structural and fabrication drawings.

Coordinate with consultants and design teams regarding site requirements.

Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions.

Assist in preparing measurement sheets and as-built information.

Ensure the latest approved drawings are being followed at site.

- Quality & Safety

Ensure construction activities follow approved specifications and quality standards.

Conduct basic quality checks for materials and workmanship.

Coordinate required inspections and testing.

Ensure workers and contractors follow site safety procedures.

Report unsafe practices and site risks immediately.

Requirements

Diploma / B.E.



/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering or related field.

2–5 years of relevant site execution experience preferred.

Practical knowledge of RCC, PEB and LGSF construction.

Good understanding of structural and architectural drawings.

Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, estimation and quantity surveying.

Experience in vendor, contractor and material coordination.

Ability to prepare DPRs, measurement sheets and site reports.

Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

AutoCAD knowledge will be an advantage.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Willingness to travel and work at project sites.

Should be comfortable taking ownership of site-level responsibilities.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is practical, responsible and execution-oriented — not someone who only supervises workers.

The candidate should be capable of going from:

Drawing → BOQ → Estimation → Material Planning → Vendor Coordination → Site Execution → Measurement → DPR → Completion A person who can identify problems before they become expensive problems, maintain discipline at the site and keep management updated on the actual project status will be highly preferred.

Accuracy of BOQs and measurements
