Job Summary:

Responsible for managing and supervising day-to-day shop floor operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, safety, manpower utilization, and smooth workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage daily shop floor and production operations.

- Plan and allocate manpower, machines, and resources.

- Ensure production targets are achieved within the defined timelines.

- Monitor productivity, machine utilization, downtime, rejection, and rework.

- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Stores teams.

- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

- Ensure availability of raw materials, tools, and consumables.

- Maintain production records, shift reports, and performance MIS.

- Implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and safety regulations.

- Supervise and train operators, technicians, and production supervisors.

- Monitor wastage and implement measures to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Skills Required:

- Strong knowledge of manufacturing and shop floor operations.





- Production planning and manpower management skills.

- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and Six Sigma.

- Understanding of production processes and quality standards.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Knowledge of ERP/SAP and MS Excel.

Qualification & Experience:

- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or relevant Engineering

- 7–12 years of experience in manufacturing or shop floor operations.

- Previous experience as a Shop Floor Manager, Production Manager, or Production Supervisor preferred.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in automotive, engineering, electronics, consumer appliances, fabrication, machining, or precision manufacturing.

- Experience managing production teams, machinery, and high-volume manufacturing operations.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
