Role Description The Service Engineer / Assistant Manager – Electrical Power Quality Systems role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. This role involves performing field service activities, including installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical power quality systems at customer locations. The individual will diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, provide technical support to clients, and ensure timely repair and upkeep of equipment.

Responsibilities include preparing service reports, coordinating with internal teams for spare parts and upgrades, and supporting project execution and after-sales service.



The role also requires regular communication with customers to clarify technical needs, provide product guidance, and ensure high levels of service quality and safety compliance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for electrical power quality systems and related equipment.
- Candidates should possess hands-on Field Service experience, including in office installation, commissioning, and customer interaction.
- Candidates should possess solid Maintenance & Repair capabilities to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams and to document service activities clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
- Knowledge of power quality, electrical distribution systems, and safety standards is beneficial.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and use diagnostic tools and test instruments.
- Willingness to travel to client sites, manage multiple service assignments, and work in industrial environments.
