Job Summary

We are looking for a System Admin Trainee who is interested in building a career in IT infrastructure and system administration. The candidate will work closely with the IT team to provide day-to-day technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist in managing network, security, and IT assets.

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n

- Provide first-level IT support to employees for hardware and software-related issues.

/n

- Assist in setting up and configuring laptops, desktops, printers, and other IT equipment.

/n

- Support user account creation, access management, and basic system configurations.

/n

- Assist with troubleshooting LAN, Wi-Fi, Internet, and network connectivity issues.

/n

- Support in managing switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.

/n

- Assist with basic monitoring of servers, network devices, and system performance.

/n

- Support Forti Gate and Sophos firewall administration under the guidance of senior team members.

/n

- Assist in maintaining CCTV, ESSL biometric systems, and other office IT infrastructure.

/n

- Maintain IT asset records, documentation, and inventory.

/n

- Assist with ISO 27001-related IT documentation and compliance activities.

/n

- Coordinate with ISPs and IT vendors for basic technical support and service requests.

/n





- Maintain records of IT incidents, troubleshooting activities, and asset allocation.

/n

- Follow IT security, access-control, backup, and system maintenance procedures.

/n

Required Skills

/n

/n

- Preferred Relevant IT/networking certifications

/n

- Basic knowledge of System Administration & Networking

/n

- Hardware and software troubleshooting

/n

- Basic understanding of Firewalls and VPN

/n

- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems

/n

- IT asset management

/n

- Basic understanding of IT security

/n

- Good documentation skills

/n

- Valuable communication and problem-solving skills

/n

Educational Qualification

/n

Bachelor's/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.

/n

Familiar with IT infrastructure and system administration are encouraged to apply .

Good to Have

/n

/n

- Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP

/n

- Familiarity with CCTV or biometric systems

/n

/n

/n
