We are looking for an experienced Senior Video Content Editor who combines excellent editing skills with strong editorial judgment, storytelling ability and an instinct for what audiences want to watch.

The role involves working with a continuous feed of footage from Bollywood events, celebrity appearances, red carpets, movie promotions, press events, launches and entertainment events and transforming it into polished, engaging and highly watchable digital content.

This is not purely a video editing role.

We are looking for someone who can independently review raw footage, identify the strongest moments and decide what is worth turning into content.

? What You’ll Do

- Review and manage incoming footage from Bollywood and entertainment events.
- Identify interesting, entertaining, newsworthy and potentially viral moments without requiring detailed editorial direction.
- Transform long-form footage into multiple high-quality short-form videos, highlights and event recaps.
- Create compelling vertical and mobile-first content designed for modern social media audiences.
- Develop strong opening hooks and edit for pacing, storytelling and audience retention.
- Add captions, subtitles, titles, graphics, transitions, music and other creative elements where appropriate.
- Perform colour correction, audio enhancement, stabilization and general video optimization.
- Select compelling thumbnails and cover frames.
- Maintain consistent editorial and visual quality across a high volume of content.
- Prioritize time-sensitive footage and deliver content quickly when required.
- Stay closely informed about Bollywood, entertainment, celebrity and social media trends.

? What We’re Looking For

- 3–6 years of professional video editing experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong experience creating Reels, Shorts and other short-form/mobile-first video formats.




- Excellent understanding of storytelling, pacing, hooks and audience retention.
- Robust knowledge of Bollywood, celebrities, movies and Indian entertainment culture.
- Excellent editorial judgment and the ability to identify compelling moments from large volumes of raw footage.
- Good written English and Hindi, particularly for captions, titles and subtitles.
- Strong understanding of current social media formats, trends and editing styles.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality content under tight timelines.

Experience with After Effects, Photoshop, motion graphics, thumbnail design or other creative tools would be an advantage.

⭐ Who Would Be a Great Fit?

Someone who can receive 30–60 minutes of raw event footage and independently identify the 3–5 moments actually worth publishing.

We want an editor who thinks like a content creator and storyteller, not just someone who operates editing software.

You should have a strong instinct for:

- What should we publish?
- Where should the video start?
- What will make someone stop scrolling?
- What can be removed?
- How can this moment become more engaging without over-editing it?

? Preferred Background

Previous experience with a digital media company, entertainment publication, production house, entertainment news platform, social media agency or celebrity/media agency would be highly valued.

Experience working directly with Bollywood, celebrity, entertainment or event content would be a significant advantage.
