Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Automation Architect / Lead Automation Architect with strong expertise in Mobile, Web, and API Test Automation, Automation Strategy, Framework Engineering,

and Banking Quality Assurance.

The ideal candidate should possess deep hands-on experience in architecting and implementing enterprise-scale automation frameworks using Appium, Selenium, and REST API Automation,

while driving CI/CD-enabled quality engineering practices across large-scale banking transformation programs.

This role demands a strong blend of technical architecture, quality governance, delivery leadership, mentoring, and banking domain expertise, with a focus on accelerating automation maturity and improving software quality across digital banking platforms.

Ideal Candidate Profile A highly skilled Automation Architect with:

- 12+ years of overall Quality Engineering and Test Automation experience.
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Mobile, Web, and API Automation.
- 4-6 years of experience functioning as an Automation Architect or Lead Automation

Consultant.
- 3-5 years of recent Banking or Digital Banking automation experience.
- Strong expertise in Automation Framework Development, CI/CD Integration, and Quality

Engineering best practices.
- Proven track record of leading enterprise-scale automation initiatives and mentoring automation teams.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Strategy & Architecture

- Define and maintain enterprise-wide automation architecture and roadmap.
- Design reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation frameworks for Mobile, Web, and

API testing.
- Establish automation standards, governance models, and quality engineering best practices.
- Drive automation transformation initiatives across multiple banking and digital programs.
- Perform automation framework assessments and technology evaluations.
- Recommend innovative solutions to improve automation effectiveness, coverage, and maintainability.

Quality Assurance & Governance

- Conduct detailed GAP Analysis across testing processes, automation coverage, and delivery practices.
- Perform coverage reviews for business scenarios with emphasis on:

o Functional Coverage o Banking Domain Coverage o Regulatory Requirements o Business Risk Coverage
- Ensure quality assurance checks across all project deliverables.




- Define review mechanisms and quality gates throughout the SDLC lifecycle.
- Establish automation KPIs, governance reporting, and quality metrics.

Framework Development & Engineering

- Architect and develop enterprise-grade automation frameworks using:

o Appium o Selenium o REST API Automation
- Build reusable automation libraries, utilities, accelerators, and components.
- Establish framework design principles, coding standards, and best practices.
- Ensure framework reliability, scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Implement centralized reporting, logging, monitoring, and analytics capabilities.

DevOps & Continuous Testing

- Lead CI/CD integration initiatives across banking and digital transformation programs.
- Integrate automation frameworks with:

o Jenkins o Azure DevOps o GitHub Actions o Enterprise DevOps Toolchains
- Enable continuous testing and automated quality gates.
- Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to optimize test execution pipelines.
- Promote Shift-Left Testing and Continuous Quality Engineering practices.

Technical Leadership & Mentoring

- Provide architectural guidance to automation teams.
- Mentor Automation Engineers, Senior Engineers, Leads, and Client QA Teams.
- Review automation design, code quality, framework architecture, and execution strategies.
- Assist project teams in identifying risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
- Guide teams on technology adoption, automation maturity, and engineering excellence.

Execution Oversight & Expert Reviews

- Perform expert reviews throughout execution phases.
- Drive defect prevention and early quality assurance initiatives.
- Review automation coverage, execution status, and quality metrics.
- Ensure alignment between automation strategy and business objectives.
- Support leadership with quality dashboards and automation governance reporting.

Required Skills

Experience

- 12+ years in Software Testing, Quality Engineering, and Test Automation.
- 8-10 years of hands-on automation experience.
- 4-6 years of Automation Architect experience.




- 3-5 years of Banking Domain experience with exposure to:

o Core Banking o Mobile Banking o Digital Banking Platforms
- Experience managing and mentoring enterprise-scale automation teams.
