Position Overview

We are seeking a SmartCOMM Solution Architect / Lead to spearhead the implementation and transformation of enterprise Customer Communications Management (CCM) solutions. In this role, you will lead the architecture, design, and integration of the SmartCOMM (Smart Communications) SaaS platform across high-volume digital environments. You will bridge complex business communication logic, regulatory compliance requirements, and cloud infrastructure integration to drive automated, multi-channel customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

- Platform Architecture: Design and deploy end-to-end SmartCOMM cloud architectures, template models, interactive communication drafts, and document generation workflows.
- Data & API Integration: Build scalable RESTful/SOAP APIs and data integration pipelines connecting SmartCOMM with upstream enterprise engines (Salesforce, Guidewire, Core Banking, or AWS S3/Azure Blob storage).
- Omnichannel Orchestration: Configure multi-channel delivery streams including batch print, interactive PDF, email, SMS, and HTML/digital web layouts.
- Migration & Modernization: Lead legacy CCM platform migrations (from HP Exstream, OpenText Dialogue, or Quadient) to cloud-native SmartCOMM environments.
- Template & Logic Engineering: Oversee complex variable logic, reusable sub-templates, and strict regulatory content block locks to ensure full compliance across communications.




- Performance & Governance: Conduct performance tuning, volume scaling, approval workflow automation, audit trail setup, and user access control management.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: 8+ years of core software engineering experience, with a minimum of 3+ years specifically in SmartCOMM (Smart Communications) enterprise implementations.
- Platform Expertise: Hands-on mastery of SmartCOMM Appliance, SmartIQ, Authoring toolkits, Template Designer, and Content Manager.
- Integration Skills: Robust working knowledge of JSON/XML data payloads, REST/SOAP API integrations, Java or Python scripting, and middleware/ESB architectures.
- Domain Exposure: Background in highly regulated, high-volume document industries such as Banking, Insurance, Capital Markets, or Healthcare.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Familiarity with AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure, containerization, and automated CI/CD deployment pipelines for CCM templates.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical discipline
