Role Description The Senior Surveyor is a full-time, hybrid role based in Delhi, India, with flexibility for some work-from-home tasks such as data processing, report preparation, and coordination activities. On-site responsibilities include conducting land and construction surveys, setting out project alignments, levels, and control points, and verifying site measurements to support highway design and construction teams. The role involves managing survey teams, supervising the use and maintenance of surveying instruments, and ensuring accurate data collection and documentation.

Surveyor will collaborate with project engineers and construction managers to resolve discrepancies, monitor progress, and maintain compliance with project specifications and local regulations.



This position also includes preparing survey reports, maintaining records, and contributing to continuous improvement of survey methods and safety practices.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in construction and infrastructure surveying, preferably on highway or road projects.
- Proficiency with modern surveying equipment and tools (e.g., total stations, GPS/GNSS, levels, data collectors).
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications and translate them into accurate field layouts.
- Solid skills in survey data processing, basic CAD or survey software, and preparation of technical reports and documentation.
- Knowledge of relevant local regulations, safety standards, and quality control practices in civil construction.
- Demonstrated leadership in supervising field teams, coordinating with cross-functional project stakeholders, and managing timelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; working knowledge of Hindi is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field; professional certifications in surveying are an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site as needed in and around Delhi and adapt to varying field conditions.
