Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, implement, and support resilient software solutions. The role requires strong technical expertise, independent problem-solving ability, and experience across software development, cloud technologies, application monitoring, testing, and CI/CD.

The successful candidate will contribute to technical architecture and strategy, drive software development best practices, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable and resilient software solutions.
- Analyze and document current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) processes, identifying changes required to achieve target capabilities.
- Recommend technical improvements to enhance software quality, application performance, infrastructure, and user experience.
- Develop multiple technical concepts, prototypes, and solution designs to address business and technical requirements.
- Contribute to software architecture decisions, technical strategy, and technology roadmaps.
- Design, automate, execute, and analyze complex software tests to validate application functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Implement comprehensive application monitoring and observability to identify performance and stability issues.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and Software Engineers to define and deliver product roadmaps.
- Create work breakdown structures, estimates, and delivery plans to support successful software project execution.




- Maintain and contribute to technical roadmaps, ensuring development priorities align with business requirements.
- Support and guide CI/CD activities, including code integration, automated testing, and software builds.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, industry developments, and best practices and assess their potential impact on the organization.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, supporting their professional and technical development.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies, software engineering practices, and industry standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Ability to independently plan, organize, prioritize, and manage software development activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and technical information from multiple sources.
- Understanding of business requirements, technology architecture, organizational processes, and operational environments.
- Ability to define and document future-state technology and business processes and identify required changes.
- Strong technical documentation and solution/architecture design skills.
- Experience with object-oriented/component-oriented software development.
- Strong experience with database interfaces, SQL, database queries, and database design.
- Experience with cloud computing,



cloud infrastructure, and cloud-based services.
- Experience designing, executing, and reporting on software/system testing.
- Experience configuring, managing, and supporting software applications and technical environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, root-cause analysis, and problem-resolution capabilities.

Preferred Technical Skills

- GCP / Google Cloud Platform implementation experience.
- Strong Java Backend development experience.
- Spring Boot and REST API development experience.
- Vue.js experience.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build tools.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and/or Oracle databases.
- Database design, development, and modification experience.
- Experience with performance tuning and application optimization.
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud-native development is an advantage.
- Experience with automated testing and application monitoring is preferred.

Experience 3–6 years of relevant software development experience, with hands-on experience in backend development, cloud technologies, databases, testing, and software engineering practices.

Experience coordinating or providing technical guidance to other engineers is preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
