We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with 9–13 years of experience in designing and developing enterprise-grade banking applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, secure application development, and banking domain knowledge. The role requires hands-on technical contribution, code quality ownership, mentoring junior engineers, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance digital banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities





- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Lead, mentor, and grow cross-functional engineering teams across multiple locations
- Provide technical and people leadership to Team Leads and senior engineers
- Develop scalable Microservices and REST APIs following industry best practices.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
- Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards, security, and quality guidelines.
- Implement secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, and API security.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with UI (ReactJS/Flutter), QA, DevOps, Product, and Architecture teams.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement permanent fixes.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance during development.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automation, and engineering best practices.

- Exposure to Wallets, Payments, USSD, or ISO8583 is an added advantage.
