We are seeking a talented and highly skilled Senior Research Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. If you're passionate about translating research ideas into production-oriented prototypes and have a good publication record in top-tier conferences, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify emerging research trends, critically evaluate academic papers, and translate theoretical ideas into functional algorithms.
- Rapidly build working prototypes and demos, iterating on promising approaches to scale them into robust PoC's.
- A major part of the work involves tackling complex challenges in recommendation systems, personalization, causal inference, and counterfactual user engagement modeling.
- Run rigorous experiments across large datasets, evaluate model performance statistically, and collaborate closely with cross-functional research and engineering teams to shepherd ideas through the entire pipeline: concept, algorithm, prototype, and PoC.

Education:

Ph.D. or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

Experience:

Must-Have:





- 2-6 years of professional experience in a machine learning-related role.
- Practical, hands on development experience with LLMs, generative AI, and recommendation engines, along with the ability to independently parse and implement research papers.
- Excellent Proficiency in Python programming and modern ML frameworks.
- Strong theoretical understanding of machine learning algorithms, techniques, and methodologies.
- Solid understanding of deep learning architectures and frameworks.
- A publication track record with accepted papers at top-tier A*/A venues (such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI, IJCAI, ACL, or EMNLP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a rapid-paced, cross-functional team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A self-driven attitude with a passion for staying current with the latest trends and developments in machine learning.

Good to Have:

- Working Exposure with projects related to foundation models, causal ML, user modeling.
- Prior working experience translating research ideas into production-oriented prototypes or PoCs is preferred.
