- Manage end-to-end procurement of agricultural commodities.

- Source commodities from suppliers, traders, farmers, aggregators, and other channels.

- Identify and develop reliable suppliers across different markets.

- Negotiate pricing, quality, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

- Monitor commodity availability, market prices, and seasonal trends.

- Ensure timely procurement as per business requirements.

- Handle multiple purchase transactions simultaneously across different suppliers and locations.

- Manage high-volume purchase orders and ensure accurate transaction records.

- Track the complete purchase cycle from enquiry and quotation to procurement and delivery.

- Coordinate multiple deliveries, suppliers, payments, and documentation at the same time.

- Ensure there are no delays, discrepancies, or gaps in purchase transactions.

- Develop and maintain robust relationships with suppliers and trading partners.

- Evaluate vendors based on price, quality, reliability, capacity, and delivery performance.

- Negotiate long-term supply arrangements wherever beneficial.

- Resolve supplier-related issues regarding quality, quantity, pricing, and delivery.

- Track daily/weekly market prices and commodity movements.

- Analyze demand, supply, seasonality, and market trends.

- Provide purchase recommendations to management based on market conditions.

- Identify opportunities for cost savings and profitable procurement.

- Ensure purchased commodities meet required quality specifications.

- Coordinate with quality/testing teams for inspection and approval.

- Coordinate with warehouse teams regarding receipt,



storage, and stock availability.

- Monitor shortages, excess stock, quality issues, and material discrepancies.

- Ensure accurate preparation and maintenance of purchase orders and related documents.

- Update purchase transactions in ERP/software systems.

- Maintain supplier records, purchase registers, quotations, invoices, and delivery documents.

- Coordinate with accounts regarding vendor invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.

- Prepare purchase MIS and management reports.

- Coordinate closely with Sales, Accounts, Finance, Warehouse, Logistics, Quality, and Management teams.

- Align procurement with sales orders and customer requirements.

- Ensure timely availability of commodities for domestic sales or export requirements.

- 8–10+ years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.

- Strong experience in trading companies, preferably agri-commodity trading.

- Good knowledge of agricultural commodities and commodity markets.

- Strong supplier sourcing and vendor management skills.

- Excellent negotiation and commercial skills.

- Ability to handle multiple high-value transactions simultaneously

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
