Job Overview:

n

We are looking for a skilled xIL Modeling and Integration Engineer with strong expertise in model-based development and simulation within the automotive domain. The role focuses on plant modeling, powertrain system simulation, and integration with HIL environments.

n

MATLAB, Simscape, Simulink, Powertrain, Plant Modelling, AMESim

Position Requirements

n

Basic Qualifications

n

n
1. Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other suitable degree related to Engineering from an accredited university
n
2. Experience in the electronics, hardware, automotive industry
n
3. Experience with plant and controller modeling, simulation, development and testing
n
4. Experience in Model Based Development on any Powertrain Application, preferred Matlab-Simulink/Stateflow/SimScape
n
5. Knowledge and experience with Powertrain, EE, electric and hybrid systems
n
6. Demonstrated Hardware- In-the-Loop systems experience (dSPACE, ETAS, NI HIL systems)
n
7. Experience with C/C++ code generation
n
8. Knowledge of Simulation Tool (Ex: ASM)
n
9. Experience with 1-D physical modeling tools such as GT Power, AMESim and co-simulation tools
n
10. Experience with model-based development tools using m-script
n
11.

12. Solid ability to work directly with individuals and groups
n
13. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
n
14. Self-starter who can work cross-functionally with other people

Preferred Qualifications:

n

1. Master of Science degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
n
2. Working experience of Model Development
n
3. Basic knowledge of vehicle dynamics and specific simulation software
n
4. Knowledge of Vehicle Systems Components
n
5. Experience of working within an AGILE or Scrum framework
n
6. Experience in Test Automation
n
7. Ability to adapt to changing environment with minimal effect on productivity
n
8. Strong understanding of the development of embedded software
n
9. Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of management
n
10. Good understanding of the development of embedded software
n
11. Experience with data acquisition and analysis tools such as ETAS-INCA
n

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Automotive Engineering

Master’s Degree (Preferred)
