nRole Overview
nWe are seeking an experienced Atlassian consulting partner or Jira administration specialist with 3+ years of experience to lead a Jira Standardization and Governance Initiative. The consultant will assess the current Jira workplace, rationalize configurations, and establish a standardized operating model with clear governance, ownership, and best practices. The engagement will cover assessment, design, implementation, testing, deployment, training, and operational handover.

nKey Responsibilities

- n
- Conduct a current-state assessment of Jira projects, issue types, custom fields, workflows, screens, schemes, boards, dashboards, filters, automations, permissions, and reporting dependencies.n
- Develop and implement a target-state governance framework including:n
- Naming conventions, ownership, and change controln
- Exception management and archive criterian




- Issue type taxonomy and workflow standardsn
- Field governance and mandatory field requirementsn
- Rationalize and implement approved configuration changes while minimizing disruption to teams, integrations (AHA, Salesforce, etc.), and reporting.n
- Lead implementation activities including regression testing, UAT support, production deployment, rollback planning, and hypercare.n
- Deliver comprehensive documentation including:n
- Jira Administration Runbookn
- Governance Handbookn
- Workflow and issue type catalogsn
- Change and rollback documentationn
- Training materials and closure reportn

nRequired Skills & Experience

- Proven expertise in Jira administration, configuration, and governance.n
- Hands-on experience with UI, API, CI/CD, and automation programs.n
- Strong background in workflow design, issue type taxonomy, and field governance.n
- Experience integrating Jira with AHA, Salesforce, and
