Deep eClinicalWorks pharmacy expertise. Ready for much broader ownership?

Script Assist is looking for an experienced eClinicalWorks Product Analyst or Senior Product Analyst with genuine hands-on expertise in the eClinicalWorks Pharmacy Module, medication management or closely related medication and prescribing workflows.

You may currently or previously have been a:

- Senior Product Analyst
- Product Analyst
- Clinical Product Analyst
- Product Owner
- Clinical Analyst
- Business Analyst
- Product Specialist

Your exact seniority is less important than the depth of your pharmacy and medication-product experience.

This is not a generic Product Analyst vacancy.

We specifically want someone who has spent significant time understanding pharmacy or medication workflows inside eClinicalWorks and has worked across requirements, product behaviour, configuration, UAT, defects and implementation.

You will work directly with Script Assist’s Director of Pharmacy and take increasing ownership across pharmacy technology, Product and pharmacy customers.

? About Script AssistScript Assist is a UK healthcare technology company building software for complex private clinical services.

Our technology connects clinics, prescribers, pharmacies, patients and operational teams.

The pharmacy platform includes

- Prescription receipt and processing
- Prescribing and medication workflows
- Pharmacist and clinical review
- Dispensing
- Medication and product data
- Inventory and stock
- Batch and expiry management
- Purchasing and supply
- Fulfilment and delivery
- Reconciliation
- Pharmacy work queues
- Roles and permissions
- Integrations
- Reporting
- Operational exceptions and live production issues

We need someone who understands sophisticated healthcare software deeply enough to reason about how it should actually work.

⚙️ Your eClinicalWorks experienceThe strongest candidates will have substantial hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks pharmacy or medication functionality.

Your experience may include

- eClinicalWorks Pharmacy Module
- Medication Management
- Prescription and medication workflows
- Medication or product configuration
- Pharmacy workflows
- Prescription processing
- Medication safety
- Formularies or medication lists
- E-prescribing
- Refills and renewals
- Dispensing workflows
- Inventory or pharmacy stock
- Pharmacy work queues
- Roles and permissions
- Requirements discovery
- Workflow analysis
- User stories and acceptance criteria
- Product configuration
- Defect analysis and validation
- UAT
- Integrations and interfaces
- Training
- Implementation
- Go-live and hypercare
- Production issues

You do not need experience with every area above.

What matters is that you understand the product beyond the surface.

You should be able to explain how a pharmacy or medication workflow operates, why the software behaves the way it does and what should change when it does not meet the underlying requirement.

Generic eClinicalWorks experience without meaningful pharmacy or medication depth will not be sufficient.

? What you will ownYou will work across Pharmacy, Product, Engineering, QA, Implementation and Support.

Your work will include

- Understanding detailed pharmacy requirements
- Mapping pharmacy and medication workflows
- Identifying the underlying problem behind a customer request
- Determining whether an issue relates to workflow, configuration, data, integration, training or a software defect
- Translating pharmacy problems into clear product requirements
- Challenging customer requests where there is a better solution
- Defining expected system behaviour
- Writing or reviewing requirements and acceptance criteria
- Reviewing proposed product solutions
- Participating in UAT
- Validating defects, fixes and releases
- Investigating difficult live production issues
- Supporting implementations and optimisation
- Identifying genuine product gaps
- Working with Product and Engineering on solutions
- Owning difficult actions through to resolution

We need somebody who can move beyond:

“The customer has requested this feature.”

and instead determine:

“This is the actual pharmacy problem, this is how the workflow currently operates, and this is what the product should do.”

? Product judgementYour eClinicalWorks Product Analyst experience is particularly valuable because Script Assist needs someone who can sit between the pharmacy domain and the software team.

You should be comfortable asking questions such as:

- Is this really a product gap?
- Could this be solved through configuration?
- Is the workflow itself wrong?
- What happens in the edge cases?
- What does the pharmacist need to see?
- What could go wrong in production?
- Does this solution work for one customer or should it become part of the core product?
- How will we know the change works correctly?

You do not need to be a software engineer.

You do need to understand software products deeply enough to work intelligently with Product and Engineering.

? Customer and stakeholder ownershipThis role will increasingly work directly with UK pharmacies and healthcare customers.

You do not need to arrive as an experienced Account Manager.

We would rather hire an exceptional pharmacy-product specialist with strong communication and leadership potential than a polished client manager without the necessary systems depth.

However, you should already be comfortable working with some combination of:

- Pharmacists
- Clinicians
- Healthcare customers
- Product Managers
- Developers
- QA teams
- Implementation teams
- Support teams

You should be able to:
- Run detailed requirements discussions
- Ask intelligent follow-up questions
- Explain software clearly
- Challenge assumptions professionally
- Own actions
- Communicate difficult issues clearly
- Work independently on complex problems

Excellent spoken and written English is essential.

✅ What we are looking forYou will typically have approximately 4–12 years of relevant healthcare technology experience, including meaningful experience with eClinicalWorks pharmacy or medication workflows.

We care much more about depth than nominal seniority.

An exceptional candidate with 4 or 5 years of highly relevant experience can be more attractive than someone with 10 years of generic EHR experience.

We are particularly looking for:

- Current or previous eClinicalWorks experience
- Product Analyst, Senior Product Analyst or similar functional product experience
- Deep pharmacy or medication-workflow exposure
- Solid requirements and workflow-analysis capability
- Experience translating clinical or pharmacy needs into software behaviour
- UAT and defect-validation experience
- Experience working with Product, Engineering or Development
- Implementation, go-live or production experience
- Strong analytical judgement
- Evidence of increasing ownership
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Ability to work UK business hours from India A B.Pharm, PharmD, pharmacist or other pharmacy background would be particularly attractive, but it is not mandatory if your pharmacy and medication-product expertise is genuinely strong.

Experience with dispensing, inventory, stock, fulfilment or broader pharmacy operations would also be valuable.

? Why this is an unusual next stepAt Script Assist, you will not simply own requirements for one small area of a large EHR.

You can progressively take responsibility across:

- Pharmacy workflows
- Product decisions
- Configuration
- Customer requirements
- Dispensing
- Inventory and stock
- UAT and releases
- Production problems
- Integrations
- Implementations
- Product priorities
- Pharmacy customer relationships

You will work directly with our Director of Pharmacy and, for the right person, can develop into significant leadership responsibility across the Script Assist pharmacy function.

If you have become genuinely expert in the eClinicalWorks Pharmacy Module or medication-management workflows and want much broader ownership, we would like to hear from you.
