Role Description The Senior Merchandiser at SBT Uniforms is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This position is responsible for planning and managing product assortments, coordinating with design and production teams, and ensuring that collections align with market trends and customer needs.

The Senior

Merchandiser will analyze sales data, monitor inventory levels, and make recommendations for pricing, promotions, and product lifecycle management. Daily tasks include collaborating with retail and sales teams, visiting stores to review displays and customer feedback, and working closely with suppliers to maintain quality and timely delivery. The role also involves supporting marketing initiatives through product positioning,



visual merchandising guidance, and participation in seasonal planning.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to understand client needs and ensure a positive experience with SBT Uniforms products.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Retail skills to interpret sales trends, optimize assortments, and support store performance.
- Candidates should possess Marketing skills to contribute to product positioning, promotions, and merchandising strategies.
- Relevant experience in apparel or uniform merchandising, buying, or product management.
- Ability to analyze data, forecast demand, and make evidence-based decisions.
- Solid attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and merchandising or inventory management software; familiarity with visual merchandising best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
