Role Description The Senior Mechanical Engineer will work full time on-site at TRPL’s manufacturing facility in Rajahmundry. This role involves leading mechanical design and development activities for solar glass production equipment and related systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and reviewing machine components, preparing and updating CAD models and drawings, and overseeing installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems.

Engineer will coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.



The role also includes managing engineering projects, supporting R&D; efforts for new machinery or process enhancements, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Mechanical Engineering expertise with experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for equipment, components, and layouts.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication.
- Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D;) skills for improving existing systems and developing new mechanical solutions.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in glass, solar, or process manufacturing industries is an advantage.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards, quality control practices, and reliability engineering is beneficial.
- Ability to lead teams, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate effectively with operations and maintenance staff.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proficiency in common engineering and documentation tools.
