About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Manager – Finance to lead accounting, financial reporting, audits, MIS, compliance, and financial controls. The role will also support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making while managing key stakeholders and a finance team.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements for group entities.
- Ensure monthly books closure in accordance with the company’s defined timelines.
- Prepare, review, and analyse MIS reports and provide meaningful insights to management.
- Independently manage and coordinate Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, and Due Diligence activities.
- Establish and maintain strong quality controls over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and central government statutory reporting requirements.
- Manage and deliver ad-hoc financial and management reporting requirements within stipulated timelines.
- Proactively identify accounting and financial issues and provide timely, practical, and solution-oriented recommendations.
- Drive process improvements and internal controls to enhance financial accuracy, reporting quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.




- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, consultants, and cross-functional teams, to ensure smooth execution of finance activities.
- Support management in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making, as required.

Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6–7 years of post-qualification experience in core Accounting and Finance.

Required Skills

- Strong end-to-end ownership, solution-oriented approach, and demonstrated ability to deliver results.
- Proven experience in managing financial preparation and reporting for multiple entities, including consolidation of financial statements.
- Prior experience in handling Big 4 audit engagements.
- Experience in managing, mentoring, and developing a team of 3–4 members.
- Strong experience in handling high-volume financial transactions and complex accounting operations.
- Prior experience in a start-up, high-growth, or fast-paced organisation will be an added advantage.
- Robust analytical, interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality outputs within tight timelines.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, compliance, controls, and continuous improvement.
