Deep Sunrise Pharmacy experience. Ready for broader ownership?Script Assist is looking for an experienced Altera / Allscripts Sunrise implementation specialist with deep hands-on experience in Sunrise Pharmacy, Sunrise Medication Management or closely related medication workflows.

We are specifically interested in people who have gone deep into Sunrise pharmacy and medication configuration, rather than someone who has simply worked on a wider Sunrise EHR implementation.

You will work directly with Script Assist’s Director of Pharmacy and take increasing ownership across pharmacy technology, pharmacy workflows, Product and pharmacy customers.

You do not need experience with every area above.

We want somebody who can explain how the pharmacy and medication workflow is configured, how the different parts interact and why the system behaves as it does.

Pure testing experience or general Sunrise exposure without significant medication or pharmacy depth will not be sufficient.

- What the pharmacy is trying to achieve
- How the workflow currently operates
- How the software should support it
- Whether configuration needs to change
- Whether the underlying problem is workflow, data, integration, permissions or training
- Whether there is a genuine software defect
- Whether Product needs to build something new
- What the correct system behaviour should be
- What pharmacy and patient-safety edge cases need to be considered

This is not a role where you simply document what somebody asks for.

We need you to understand the problem deeply enough to help decide what the right answer actually is.

? Customer and stakeholder ownershipYou will increasingly work directly with UK pharmacies and healthcare customers.

You do not need to arrive with years of formal account-management experience.

A very strong Sunrise specialist with excellent communication and leadership potential is extremely interesting to us.

You should, however, already have experience working with some combination of:





- Pharmacists
- Clinicians
- Hospital or healthcare customers
- Operational teams
- Product teams
- Technical teams
- Implementation stakeholders

You should be comfortable running workflow conversations, explaining system behaviour, asking detailed questions and taking responsibility for resolving difficult issues.

Excellent spoken and written English is essential.

✅ What we are looking forYou will typically have approximately 4–12 years of relevant healthcare technology experience, with significant hands-on experience in Sunrise Pharmacy or Sunrise Medication Management.

We value depth much more than nominal seniority.

An exceptional 4 or 5 year Sunrise specialist can be considerably more compelling than someone with 10 years of broad healthcare implementation experience.

We are particularly looking for:

- Deep Altera / Allscripts Sunrise experience
- Significant Sunrise Pharmacy or Medication Management expertise
- Hands-on configuration or functional build experience
- Strong understanding of medication and pharmacy workflows
- Implementation, UAT, go-live or production ownership
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system behaviour
- Strong product and workflow judgement
- Experience working directly with clinical, pharmacy or customer stakeholders
- Evidence of increasing ownership or leadership
- Excellent English communication
- Ability to work UK business hours from India A B.Pharm, PharmD, pharmacist or other pharmacy background would be valuable but is not mandatory.

Experience extending beyond hospital medication management into dispensing, inventory, stock, fulfilment or wider pharmacy operations would be particularly attractive.
