Role Description The Senior Executive – Stores and Logistics role is a full-time, on-site position based in Puducherry. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day store operations, including receipt, verification, storage, and issuance of materials, spare parts, and finished goods.

The Senior

Executive manages inventory levels, maintains accurate stock records, ensures timely inward and outward material movement, and coordinates with production, procurement, and quality teams to support smooth operations. The role also includes planning and organizing logistics activities, arranging transportation,



tracking shipments, and ensuring on-time delivery to customers and internal locations while optimizing costs.

The Senior

Executive is expected to implement and follow standard operating procedures, support audits, maintain safety and housekeeping standards, and contribute to continuous improvement in store and logistics processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, logistics providers, and customers.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle queries, manage delivery expectations, and support client-focused logistics operations.
- Candidates should possess Retail Sales and Organization Skills to manage stock placement, maintain orderly stores, and ensure accurate inventory handling.
- Candidates should possess Training skills to guide store staff on processes, safety practices, and systems usage.
- Experience in stores, warehousing, or logistics within manufacturing or engineering environments is highly beneficial.
- Working knowledge of inventory management systems or ERP software and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and adherence to compliance and safety standards.
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field is desirable; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
