Role Overview

Please find below the for the Senior Data Engineer / Cloud Data Engineer role.

Role: Senior Data Engineer / Cloud Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

- Experience working in a production data environment, with responsibility for building, maintaining, and supporting data pipelines and data platforms.
- Hands-on experience in cloud data migration and platform modernization, including planning, execution, and production support during and after migration.
- Strong experience with BigQuery and Snowflake, along with cloud-based data architectures. Ability to design, optimize, and operate scalable cloud data solutions.
- Experience migrating, supporting, and maintaining BI/reporting platforms such as Looker. Mode experience is an added advantage.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data quality, performance, and integration issues.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools, preferably Talend,



and modern data pipeline patterns covering ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and monitoring.
- Experience building and managing marketing data integrations with search engines, social media platforms, and other third-party marketing data sources.
- Solid experience with internal and external API integrations, including data ingestion, validation, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling, performance optimization, and cost-efficient cloud data design.
- Ability to own and deliver complex technical solutions end-to-end, covering design, implementation, deployment, and production support.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS / GCP / Azure.
- Experience with distributed data technologies/frameworks such as Spark or Kafka.
- Strong programming skills in at least one of Python / C# / SQL.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with Engineering, Analytics, Product, and Business teams.
- Experience with development and collaboration tools such as Git and Jira.
- Experience with BI platforms such as Tableau / Looker / Power BI.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience creating technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and data flows using tools such as Miro, Lucidchart, draw.io, Confluence, or Notion.
