About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer to design, develop, test, debug, and validate electronic hardware for embedded and defence-grade applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in analog and digital circuit design, schematic development, multilayer PCB design, component selection, hardware debugging, embedded interfaces, power electronics, signal integrity, and product validation.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop analog and digital electronic circuits based on product requirements.
- Develop schematics and multilayer PCB layouts using industry-standard EDA tools.
- Perform component selection considering performance, reliability, cost, availability, and lifecycle.
- Design power supply, signal conditioning, protection, and interface circuits.
- Work with microcontrollers, processors, sensors, actuators, and communication modules.
- Perform circuit simulation, prototype development, hardware validation, and bring-up.
- Debug hardware using Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, DMM, Power Supply, and Function Generator.
- Troubleshoot hardware failures and implement effective design improvements.
- Support PCB fabrication, assembly, testing, and prototype bring-up.




- Prepare schematics, BOMs, test reports, design documents, and manufacturing documentation.
- Collaborate with Embedded Software, Mechanical, Production, and R&D; teams.
- Ensure designs consider EMI/EMC, reliability, quality, and manufacturability.
- Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and problem-solving activities.

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Instrumentation, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Analog and Digital Electronics.
- Schematic Design and circuit analysis.
- Strong experience in Multi-layer PCB Design, Layout and Routing.
- Component Selection and Power Electronics fundamentals.
- Signal Integrity and Power Integrity.
- Circuit Simulation.
- STM32, NXP, ARM Cortex-M or similar microcontrollers.
- Sensor and actuator interfacing.
- UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, RS232 and RS485.
- Hardware debugging using Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, DMM, Power Supply and Function Generator.
- Understanding of EMI/EMC considerations.
- Altium Designer (Preferred) and KiCad.
- Positive technical documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in embedded hardware product development.
- Experience in defence, aerospace, industrial automation, or robotics products.
- Experience in prototype development, testing, and product validation.
- Familiarity with IPC standards and DFM/DFT concepts.
- Experience working in an R&D;/product development environment.
