We're looking for a hands-on VP of Engineering who can lead engineering across software, AI, and robotics while staying deeply involved in architecture, coding, and execution.
n
This is not a management-only role.
n
You'll work directly with the founders to turn ambitious ideas into production-ready products at startup speed.
n
What You'll Do
n
n
- Lead engineering across AI, Physical AI, robotics, and enterprise software products.
n
- Own the complete engineering lifecycle—from ideation and architecture to deployment and scaling.
n
- Stay hands-on with system design, architecture reviews, coding, and technical problem solving.
n
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance engineering team.
n
- Maximize engineering productivity and execution velocity.
n
- Drive engineering excellence, code quality, scalability, and operational reliability.
n
- Collaborate closely with Founders, Product Managers, Business Teams, Tech Support, and Enterprise Clients.
n
- Translate business ideas into scalable technology solutions.
n
- Build an AI-first engineering culture across the organization.
n
n
Physical AI & Robotics (High Priority)
n
This role strongly favors candidates with experience building AI systems that interact with the physical world.
n
Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable:
n
n
- Robotics software and autonomous systems
n
- Computer Vision and multimodal perception
n
- Robot perception and sensor fusion
n
- ROS / ROS2 ecosystem
n
- Reinforcement Learning
n
- Edge AI and Embedded AI
n
- Simulation environments (Isaac Sim, Gazebo, MuJoCo, etc.)
n
- Human-Robot Interaction
n
- Industrial automation and robotic workflows
n
n
Physical AI Data Generation (Core Responsibility)
n
A significant part of this role involves building the infrastructure required to train next-generation Physical AI models.
n
You will lead initiatives around:
n
n
- Designing scalable data generation pipelines for Physical AI and robotics.
n
- Building systems for real-world and synthetic data collection.
n
- Creating high-quality data annotation and labeling workflows.
n
- Developing simulation-based data generation and domain randomization pipelines.
n
- Managing multimodal datasets including video, images, depth, LiDAR, IMU, GPS, and sensor telemetry.
n
- Improving dataset quality, coverage, and diversity for model training.
n
- Working closely with AI/ML engineers to improve model performance through better data.
n
n
AI & Machine Learning
n
Strong understanding of modern AI technologies including:

Technical Requirements
n

- Strong backend engineering expertise using Python.
n
- Experience building scalable distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
n
- Strong frontend experience with React.
n
- Experience building applications using Flutter.
n
- Understanding of native Android and/or iOS development.
n
- Experience with APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud infrastructure.
n
- Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and production operations.
n
n
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
n
You will work closely with multiple stakeholders across the organization, including:

You should be equally comfortable discussing product strategy with founders, solving architectural challenges with engineers, and translating technical decisions into business outcomes for customers.
