Role Description This is a full time, on-site Senior Design Architect role based in Mumbai.

The Senior Design

Architect will lead concept development and architectural design for multiple projects, translating client requirements into well-resolved design solutions.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing design presentations, overseeing detailed drawings and construction documentation, coordinating with internal design, engineering, and project management teams, and ensuring design intent is maintained through all project stages. The role involves regular communication with clients, consultants, and contractors, guiding design decisions, addressing technical and site-related issues, and mentoring junior team members in design standards and best practices.

Architect will also contribute to design strategy, quality control, and continuous improvement of the firm’s design processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Architecture and Architectural Design skills, with proven experience leading complex projects from concept to completion.
- Candidates should possess solid Design Management capabilities, including coordination of multidisciplinary teams and oversight of project design deliverables.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings, with attention to technical accuracy, building codes, and constructability.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with clients, consultants, and contractors, and for guiding internal design teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
- Several years of relevant professional experience in an architectural practice, preferably in large-scale or high-end projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, and presentation tools).
- Strong knowledge of local building regulations, materials, and construction practices in India.
- Ability to work on-site, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining design quality.
