Key Responsibility Areas (KRA)

Academic Leadership: Lead and deliver high-quality teaching across Design disciplines.

Curriculum Development: Develop and continuously enhance curriculum in line with industry trends, NEP and emerging design practices.

Studio & Practical Learning: Conduct engaging studio sessions, workshops, projects and hands-on learning.

Student Mentoring: Mentor students on design thinking, portfolios, projects and career development.

Industry Integration: Bring industry practices, live projects, guest sessions and professional exposure into academics.

Design Research & Innovation:



Encourage experimentation, research, sustainability and contemporary design thinking.

Assessment & Quality: Plan and evaluate assignments, juries, examinations and student performance.

Academic Coordination: Support departmental planning, exhibitions, fashion shows, design presentations and institutional events.

Faculty Collaboration: Guide and collaborate with junior faculty to strengthen academic delivery.

Technology & AI: Integrate relevant digital tools, CAD/software and AI applications into design education.

Qualifications

- Advanced academic background in Design or related fields (Master’s degree or equivalent preferred), with solid expertise in disciplines such as Fashion, Interior or Communication Design.
- Minimum 8 years of teaching experience in design education, including studio-based pedagogy, curriculum development, assessment design, and academic mentoring at undergraduate or postgraduate levels.
