UST is hiring a Specialist I - Senior Data Science - Gen AI for an AI/ML/Analytics role.

Role: Specialist I - Senior Data Science- Gen AI

Location: Pune

Experience

- 9-12 years in business analysis, requirement gathering, and solution workflow design for AI/ML/Analytics projects
- Qualified experience of 9-12 years
- Intermediate knowledge of DevOps practices including CICD, Automation, Build Management, and Versioning
- Understanding of cloud services such as Microsoft Azure, GCP, or Amazon Web Service

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with business SMEs and UX team
- Provide excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical thinking with hands-on coding
- Perform data fetch, data merge, data wrangling, exploratory data analysis, and feature engineering
- Implement analytical requirements by defining and analysing system problems, designing and testing standards and solutions
- Develop solution options by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats
- Design new analytical solutions by analysing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, and writing specifications
- Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications
- Recommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures
- Define project requirements by identifying milestones, phases, elements, project team, and budget
- Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems,



publishing progress reports, and recommending actions
- Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures
- Provide user references through documentation, help desk support, and training users
- Protect operations by keeping information confidential
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networks, benchmarking, and professional societies

Additional Responsibilities

- Drive client engagement and align the development team toward a technical roadmap
- Write and maintain user documentation
- Provide help desk support
- Train users
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices
