Role Description The Senior Data Analyst role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The individual in this role will collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. Typical responsibilities include building and validating data models, creating dashboards and reports, and applying statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and potential risks.

The Senior Data

Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into analytical solutions, and communicate findings in a clear, structured manner. Additional tasks may include mentoring junior analysts, improving data quality processes, and contributing to the design of analytics frameworks and best practices.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills and Data Analytics capabilities to interpret complex datasets and transform them into meaningful insights.




- Proficiency in Statistics and Data Modeling to design robust analyses, build predictive models, and validate assumptions.
- Effective Communication skills to present findings, collaborate with stakeholders, and document methodologies clearly.
- Experience with data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python or R, BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau).
- Proven experience in a senior or lead data analyst capacity, preferably in technology or product-based environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Ability to work in office in Chennai, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with data governance, data visualization best practices, and business process understanding is a plus.
