Senior Backend Java Engineer with Devops experience Shift Timings: Must be able to work in Pacific time zone, Location: Remote Samay Consulting is looking to hire a Senior Back-End Java Engineer with Kubernetes Deployment Experience for a 3rd shift (7:00 PM to 4:00 AM IST) role Please read in its entirety before you apply for this role You would be part of a fast-paced engineering team that operates more like a startup You would own end-to-end delivery from gathering requirements, coming up with the design and architecture, building code, performing testing (Both Unit Testing and automated regression testing), and even deployment. What You'll Do: Design and build scalable APIs and backend services using Java Implement security best practices including authentication, authorization, and secure coding Develop event-driven architectures using Kafka Design and optimize Postgre SQL databases Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform Deploy and orchestrate services with Kubernetes What We're Looking For:10+ years of Java development experience (Spring Boot preferred)Solid API development and RESTful design skills Hands-on experience with Kafka and Postgre SQLProven ability with Terraform and Kubernetes Security-minded approach to development Experience with microservices architecture Ability to own projects from concept to production
