Role: IT Administrator Location: Ahmedabad
Role Summary We are looking for an
IT Support / IT Administrator
with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in providing day-to-day IT support to users and maintaining IT systems and devices. The role will primarily involve troubleshooting
hardware, software, operating system, network, and user-access issues , along with supporting the organization's IT infrastructure and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day technical support to employees for hardware, software, and system-related issues. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with
desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and other IT devices . Format systems, install and configure Windows OS, applications, drivers, and required software. Diagnose and resolve basic hardware issues and coordinate repairs/replacements when required. Set up and configure laptops, desktops, email accounts, and other IT equipment for new employees. Manage user accounts, passwords, system access, and basic Microsoft 365 administration.
Troubleshoot basic
LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network connectivity
issues. Support Active Directory and basic Windows Server administration. Maintain IT assets, inventory, documentation, and records of issued devices. Perform system updates, software installations, backups, and basic security checks. Coordinate with vendors/service providers for hardware, networking, and other IT-related issues. Ensure IT issues are tracked and resolved within the required timelines.
Preferred Profile Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 2–3 years of hands-on experience in IT Support / Desktop Support / System Administration. Robust practical knowledge of
Windows OS, hardware troubleshooting, system formatting, software installation, and device configuration . Basic knowledge of
Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, Wi-Fi, and VPNs . Experience supporting laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and other office IT equipment. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and a user-focused approach. Ability to independently diagnose common IT issues and take ownership until resolution. The ideal candidate should be hands-on and comfortable troubleshooting and resolving day-to-day IT issues rather than being limited to administrative or monitoring activities.
