- Position overview: We are looking for a Senior AI Developer with strong experience in Microsoft Foundry and Azure AI technologies to design, build, test, and deploy enterprise grade AI solutions. You will develop generative AI applications, AI agents, agentic workflows, retrieval augmented generation solutions, prompt orchestration, evaluation frameworks, and production ready integrations.
- You will work closely with data, engineering, architecture, security, risk, and business teams to operationalize AI use cases while ensuring solutions remain secure, scalable, traceable, cost effective, and aligned with enterprise standards.
- This role requires full coverage with an EST work schedule.

- Responsibilities: Design, build, test, and deploy generative AI applications and agentic solutions using Microsoft Foundry and Azure services.
- Translate business opportunities and operational challenges into well defined AI use cases, technical designs, and implementation plans.
- Develop enterprise AI assistants, copilots, autonomous or human supervised agents, and multi step agentic workflows.
- Build retrieval augmented generation solutions using enterprise documents, databases, APIs, internal data, and approved external sources.
- Design document ingestion, parsing, chunking, metadata, embedding, indexing, retrieval, reranking, grounding, and citation strategies.
- Implement vector, keyword, semantic, and hybrid search solutions using Azure AI Search or equivalent technologies.
- Develop prompts, reusable prompt templates, structured outputs, tool calling mechanisms, and model orchestration logic.
- Implement single agent and multi agent solutions including workflow state management, memory, tool permissions, error handling, and approval processes.
- Evaluate and select appropriate models based on accuracy, latency,



context requirements, security considerations, and cost.
- Develop production quality Python services, APIs, event driven components, and integration layers.
- Integrate AI applications with enterprise platforms, repositories, databases, and business workflows.
- Implement security controls using Microsoft Entra ID, managed identities, role based access control, private networking, and secret management.
- Establish safeguards related to content safety, prompt injection, data protection, harmful outputs, and access management.
- Create evaluation frameworks that measure relevance, groundedness, accuracy, completeness, safety, retrieval quality, latency, and cost.
- Develop representative testing datasets, regression suites, acceptance criteria, and automated validation processes.
- Implement observability through tracing, logging, monitoring, dashboards, and alerting capabilities.
- Define and implement LLMOps and MLOps practices including versioning, source control, testing, deployment, rollback, and experimentation.
- Optimize AI solutions for quality, reliability, performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Investigate production incidents, retrieval failures, model behavior issues, and integration problems.
- Produce technical documentation, solution designs, operating procedures, and architectural decision records.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on generative AI, agentic engineering, responsible AI, and software engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, privacy, legal, risk, and governance teams to meet enterprise and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate technical decisions, limitations, risks, and trade offs to both technical and business stakeholders.
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, machine learning, data science, or related technology roles.
- 3+ years of hands on Python development experience.
- Experience building and deploying production generative AI or large language model solutions.
- Hands on experience with Microsoft Foundry, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or related Azure AI services.
- Solid understanding of large language models, tokenization, embeddings, prompting, context management, structured outputs, tool calling, and model selection.
- Practical experience designing and implementing retrieval augmented generation solutions.
- Experience with vector databases or search platforms, preferably Azure AI Search.




- Experience developing AI agents and agentic workflows involving tools, state management, memory, orchestration, approvals, and recovery mechanisms.
- Strong Python engineering skills including APIs, asynchronous programming, testing, exception handling, packaging, dependency management, and maintainable application design.
- Experience developing REST APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks.
- Experience working with Azure AI Search, Blob Storage, Cosmos DB, SQL Database, Key Vault, Microsoft Entra ID, Application Insights, Azure Monitor, Functions, Container Apps, or AKS.
- Understanding of SQL, NoSQL, document stores, vector search, and enterprise data integration patterns.
- Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD, automated testing, environment management, and cloud deployments.
- Understanding of AI evaluation, observability, tracing, regression testing, model monitoring, and production support processes.
- Knowledge of responsible AI, content safety, security, privacy, model risk, data protection, and governance practices.
- Ability to identify when generative AI is appropriate and when traditional software, analytics, search, or automation solutions are more suitable.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, consulting, and communication skills.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to define measurable outcomes and success criteria.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Nice to have: Experience with Microsoft Agent Framework, Foundry Agent Service, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar orchestration frameworks.
