Role Description The Senior Admissions Counselor is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end admissions cycle, including engaging with prospective learners and families, answering inquiries, conducting campus interactions, and guiding candidates through application and enrollment processes.

The Senior Admissions

Counselor will organize and participate in outreach activities such as education fairs, school visits, corporate events, and information sessions to promote Athena’s programs. The role includes maintaining accurate admissions records, coordinating with academic and administrative teams,



and contributing to the development of admissions strategies to achieve enrollment targets. The counselor is expected to provide a high standard of service, represent the institution professionally, and support continuous improvement of admissions processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to engage effectively with prospective learners, families, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, provide guidance, and ensure a positive experience throughout the admissions process.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert leads into applications and enrollments while maintaining an ethical, learner-focused approach.
- Candidates should possess a background or demonstrated interest in Higher Education to understand academic programs and communicate their value clearly.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree (such as Business, Education, Communications, or a related field);
- Prior experience in admissions, counseling, or student recruitment is Mandatory
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple tasks, use CRM or admissions management tools, and meet defined targets and timelines.
- This is an on site full time position in Mumbai.
